Description

Washi knit

“Washi,” the traditional material handed down in Japan since ancient times.
A material created by bringing together washi's inherent qualities and modern technology.
By twisting two yarns of differing texture using an original technique, it achieves a lightweight hand with a distinctive crispness and a rich, characterful expression.
Combined with synthetic fiber, it has evolved into a material of excellent breathability and light weight, plus wrinkle resistance and quick-drying moisture absorption — strong in both function and durability.

It stays comfortable even in Japan's humid seasons, or in settings where harsh daytime heat and air-conditioned interiors would otherwise leave you chilled.
